Do people freak out about HPV more because its acronym is similar to HIV? - hiv more condition_symptoms sore back
HPV causes genital warts and can lead to cancer in some cases, but not the same as HIV. I think some people who are ignorant of the disease tend to overreact unconsciously hear the acronym HPV, confusion with HIV. Want it was an acronym for HPV?
